The project has been honoured for the creativity of its large-scale sustainable design that responds to a unique environment.
The nursing home "Les Berges du Léman" is located in a densely wooded plateau overlooking the town of Vevey. The project foresees the extension of the existing structure with a simple and compact four-storey building and an underground car park.
The reinforced concrete frame consists of a set of deep beams supported by a grid of beams at the basement level. The uniform layout with spans of 6 to 7 m enables an optimal use of the material.
