The Flâneur d'Or, awarded by Pedestrian Mobility Switzerland with the support of the Federal Roads Office, recognizes exemplary pedestrian projects in Switzerland.
This project includes six residential buildings characterized by their organic architecture and designed to comply with sustainable development strategies. The chosen structural system is made of reinforced concrete slabs supported by reinforced concrete walls and load-bearing facades made of timber frames.
The combination of timber and concrete structures allows to meet the high sustainability and energy standards while ensuring a cost-effective construction. The combined system also enables to materialize the undulating geometries of buildings.
